Why we rehearse vendor answers with procurement in the room

Vendor discussions often split into parallel tracks: commercial teams negotiate while technical teams document controls. The split is understandable, but it creates brittle stories when reviewers ask how obligations map to reality.
We run paired rehearsals where procurement and security share a single timeline artifact. Each milestone lists the obligation, the evidence artifact, and the named approver. The format is deliberately plain so nobody reaches for vague assurances.
The limitation is intentional: we do not draft contracts or interpret clauses. We teach a communication scaffold that your counsel can refine, not replace.
